Psychotherapy Services

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy services offered by our practice provide a supportive and confidential space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. In individual therapy, you will work one-on-one with a clinician to address a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, and relationship issues.

Our clinicians are trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy, allowing us to tailor our approach to meet the specific needs of each client.

In sessions, the therapist will collaborate with you to create a treatment plan and identify goals to help measure your progress. The clinician will also provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into yourself, and develop coping strategies to manage life's challenges. Through the therapeutic process, clients can gain a deeper understanding of themselves, improve their self-esteem, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and make positive changes in their lives. Individual therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking personal growth, self-exploration, and support in navigating life's challenges.

Family Therapy

Family therapy services offered by our practice provide a supportive and collaborative environment for families to address issues, improve communication, and strengthen relationships. In family therapy, multiple family members will work with a clinician in a safe and confidential space to help identify the dynamics within the family system and ways to strengthen relationships, trust, and respect.

Our therapists are experienced in implementing various family therapy modalities, including Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, allowing us to tailor our approach to meet the specific needs of each family. In sessions, the therapist will work with the family to identify goals and develop strategies to address issues such as communication breakdowns, conflicts, parenting challenges, and adjustment to life transitions. The therapist will also help family members explore their roles within the family system and how these roles may be contributing to the issues at hand.

Through the therapeutic process, families can improve their communication skills, develop stronger bonds, and create a more supportive and harmonious family environment. Family therapy can be beneficial for families experiencing a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to, divorce, blended family issues, behavioral problems in children or adolescents, substance abuse, mental health issues, and trauma.

Overall, our family therapy services are aimed at helping families build healthier relationships, improve their coping skills, and create a more positive family dynamic.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is designed to help couples strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and resolve conflicts in a healthy and constructive manner. Our therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, allowing us to tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each couple.

In sessions, couples are guided through a process of exploring their relationship dynamics, identifying patterns of communication, and gaining insight into their emotional responses to each other. Therapists work collaboratively with couples to establish goals for therapy and develop strategies to address issues such as communication breakdowns, intimacy issues, trust issues, and conflicts related to parenting or finances.

Our therapists create a safe and non-judgmental space where couples can explore their concerns, express their emotions, and learn new ways of relating to each other. Through the therapeutic process, couples can strengthen their bond, improve their communication skills, and create a more fulfilling and harmonious relationship.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is an effective, creative approach that meets the child where they are at, and utilizes their innate language and form of expression, which is play! Unlike adults, whose usual medium of communication is verbalization, the most natural medium of communication for children is play and activity. When placed in the right therapeutic environment, a child will gravitate towards acting and working out tough problems that cannot be verbally expressed.

Therapeutic play is very different than regular play. Play therapists are trained to recognize themes in play, promote emotion regulation, self-control and mastery. Play therapy is ideal for children experiencing challenges related to any of the following:

  • ADHD

  • Adjustment Issues

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Separation Challenges

  • Disruptive Behaviors

  • Academic Issues

  • Developmental Delays

  • Medical Issues/Speech Impairments

  • Divorce or separation of family

  • Death or grief

  • Trauma

  • Increased Anger or Irritability
