Lisa Macias, MSW, LSW

As a proud Latinx woman, Lisa understands the stigma that comes with engaging in mental wellness services in her community. The truth is, there is nothing to be ashamed of. We can all benefit from some support every once in a while. Most importantly, you don't have to do it alone.

Lisa completed her first and second level internships with Family Horizons from 2021-2023, prior to joining the team as a clinician. She is a bicultural bilingual Spanish speaker and has experience working with survivors of domestic violence. Lisa's compassionately supports families through difficult times while serving as a fierce advocate. Her approach is warm, trauma-informed, and person-centered. She utilizes a multicultural framework and an intersectional lens with her clients to ensure holistic care. Lisa is a firm believer that individuals are the experts of their own lives.
